GUG members are encouraged to propose papers; the language of the conference will be English. What with my being a trained historian, I used it to talk a bit more about the history of the English language, to encourage them to think about the language as a product of a history and culture that is constantly changing. This program is part of a series of English language teaching programs designed to provide teachers with language and cultural resources for their classrooms. But I spent last year teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in a public elementary school in rural Taiwan. This term is predominantly used when English is being taught in a country where it isn't the native language (for example teaching English to Spanish people in Spain). Thus far, he has written the following genres: romance, historical fiction, autobiographical, sports history/biography, and English Language Teaching.
